That's the famous Swedish camo pattern. It's supposed to be 'scientifically designed'. Of course, the Swedes want their interceptors to hide in the bushes and take off from the local highway....
I vote Swedish. Largely because I'd like to watch somebody do it (I have a collection of SAAB kits...at least one should have this pattern). Are you still doing hand painting, Augie? If so, even better.

The only one that makes sense is the Luftwaffe version. Interceptors need interceptor colors 🙂

I also vote for the Swedish one! It's a fun but demanding pattern to paint. But the challenge is good for you n' nothin' that you can't handle. Besides it's a great scheme...

Demanding! Yes!
The previous kit I built was the strv103C.
I _nearly_ got sick of the hassle with splinter camo.. 😉
However, aircraft should be easier to do the masking on. Not so many nooks, crannies and little attached details..
(just went back to my album and realised I didn't post a finished-picture, oops..)

Augie i'd still mask off each splinter bit before you hand paint that, very hard to get nice straight edges otherwise! Mmm you could cheat and go low-vis grey like other swedish a/c are now! Good luck!

Okay, folks...I'm gonna ask a dumb question.
How do I tag Augie's project to "follow" it?

You can only follow her, not her specific project.
Go on her profile. Beneath her Avatar is a clickable word called "Actions" with an arrow. There you can follow her.

Well, evidently I'd done that already. I'm already committed to stalking.
