I used some sand colored MIG pigments to weather the bottom.

Album info
This is an older Jo-Hann kit that allows you to build 3 Ace aircraft in the F or G model. Additional armament included with the kit are under wing rockets, gun packs, drop tank or a bomb. The fit was OK with the cockpit glass being the hardest to get together - it was designed to be positioned open but the cockpit is very sparse so I trimmed it up and closed it. I think the landing gear sits to high?! but I left it as is. Since my decals were old and suspect, I chose to build a Messerschmitt Bf 109F-4/Trop, I./JG 77, Matmata (Tunisia), Early 1943 based on a profile I found. All the decals came from generic sheets or scraps.
