Thanks, folks! I no longer have this model (as a lot of my past projects...divorce is a wonderful thing... 🙁 ) and looking at the file date on the photo, it was taken in May of 2006. The metal finish, Gord, is straight from the can chrome from an auto parts store, meant for bumper touch ups, etc. I was pretty happy with the results!

Very nicely done!
I'm struggling with the same build, and trying to figure out a solution for the cockpit windows. What did you do?

Hey Andrew! Sorry for the late reply....life gets in the way of this hobby thing sometimes! Anyway, as you probably read in my above comment, this was done in 2006 and I no longer have the model. That was 16 years ago and at my age, I'm lucky if I remember what happened 16 minutes ago! 🙂 Regardless, if I recall correctly, the windows and cowl are molded in one clear piece? If that's the one, then I probably would have painted the glass black from the inside, install on the plane, mask off the windows and paint the aluminum body. Peel off the masking and there you go.
