i quess thay are older than iam 😄 its nightmare, nothing fits, zillion of eject marks everyvhere, possitive panel lines and most anoying is the softness of the plastic, u can literaly scratch it with your nail 🙁
but i will not give up

Just had a look and can tell ya now, the tool is from 1993. The kit itself is a rebox from 2005. So hang in there!;)

Looking like a workhorse already. 🙂 And those Italeri kits of years ago were not tooled the way they are today, and were done by hand, but all that aside, you will do well by what I am seeing here now. 🙂 👍

Honestly, i was so motivated to build this helicopter i didnt care even i knew it would be box full of crap. Pitty that the eduards details are so great, its quot unballanced.

luckily you got the Big Ed set so there is at least plenty of the good stuff !! 😄

I have the Italeri Sea Dragon version of this kit and I was wondering does that Big Ed set do all their CH53's ?

Yeah. The BigEd is primarly designed for sea dragon. I will use only the masks, interior details but the exterior fetails are from 70% useless for this version.
