Actually the second time I painted the prop. The first time, I chipped the whole leading edge, thinking the prop was aluminum. In reality, the prop is wooden with just a metal leading edge. It was repainted to match what the prop actually is.

Twokids, it is the 4" stand from FlightPose flightpose.com/collections/all

David, the only spot where the rivets needed re-touched was on the cowling. I just used a carbide scribe to go back over them after sanding. I got it from Micro-mark a long time ago but they still sell them micromark.com/tungst..de-scriber,6931.html

How does priming them all black work, looks like they come out nice, in the final paint. My pre-shading on the "Dart" was a disaster. But I think my paint was to thin. I was thinking about trying to prime the next one all black, then try painting it.

I´ve recently tried priming black because of an article i read while researching preshading (I´m still new to all this airbrush stuff): doogsmodels.com/techniques/

I finally have the decals I want for my Mudhen, Clifford, but it'll be a bit yet before I start on it. This is a small tutorial I did when I was making my Phantom, imgur.com/a/0N5Gl but I did it a bit differently with this one. I took a lot more care to leave some shading on panel lines, and it's a bit different using this process with a camo pattern than just a solid color.
