Frank, this model is one of my favourites out of your kitchen as I had the honour to see it live in Wilnsdorf this year.
What you have achieved here is simply a masterpiece!👍
My deepest respect, master of soldering!

Thank you all 😄
I should post my soldered Strip downs too. In 1:72 this is more complicated as this AJP Kit.
BTW: Sorry for the duplicate pictures, but I haven't found out yet, how to delete them.

You definitely should, Frank!
You just can't deprive this community of your artworks!

Maybe you should show some work-in-Progress Pictures here. Your scratchbuild engine is simply awesome. 👍

that's a rigging party I've luckily missed, but as with your other models... splendid work...

Thx! Good idea, I added some pics of the building process, especially for the engine.

The wings of the AJP Kits are PE parts, contains also thin yellow paper. I painted the brass wood brown to avoid the yellow brass shine and covered both sides with this paper as described in manual (it is a bit tricky). I added again some picture to explain.

If you move with such paper models to exhibitions you have to care for air humidity during transport and show!

Fantastic job mate! The pioneers of flight for sure either had big balls or was insane to get up in the sky with contraptions like this!

Thank you! The pilots were really cool B) The guide during my build was this picture of the Demoiselle in Le Bourget (full resolution in wikipedia):[img1]

Nothing short of a work of art – again! I wish I had a tenth of your patience and skill.

Thank you Robert!
I have to admit that the pictures are a bit small by today's standards. I'll see if I can replace them with larger versions.

I really enjoy how Scalemates' newsfeed every now and then brings up old stuff because someone wrote a comment. Like this impressive build. Amazing work with small details
