Clifford, which ones do you have in your stash? If you have a Hobby Boss and Hasegawa, you should take the best parts of both and kit bash. That's what I'd do in the future if I had the option.

Spanjaardif i may ask, for what i see in your other album, you did some pre-shading, and then painted in grey colour. What did you use for the pre-shading and grey? did you use some varnish at the end? I could certainly use your expertise when i build following airplanes 🙂

Bryce NicelySpanjaard, I prime everything in black (Mr. Surfacer 1500 Black specifically) and then lay down a marble coat. Sometimes the same color as the top coat, other times I use a different color (or colors) to vary the final look. I used two colors in my Stryker build to vary the panels on the vehicle. Once the marble coat is finished, I spray a top coat of the final color.
On this aircraft, the paints used were Mr. Color Light Ghost Gray (on lower surfaces) and Dark Ghost Gray (on the topside). Brown tones were introduced with Ammo's Medium Gray panel line wash.

Spanjaard, it's kind of hard to explain. Basically just going over the whole model, putting color down in random patterns. Though sometimes I don't make the pattern random if I want a certain look at the end. Here ( imgur.com/a/0N5Gl ) is an album of the technique that I put together a few builds ago.
