steps in their places, by pressing them to the surface they set themselves to the width of the hole
the I pull them randomly forward
Here i place some spacers (2 drills of 0.5mm in this case), to get an equal distance for each step
I glue them mostly on the inside with thin CA, but here it is hard to reach, so I glued them on the outside too. Some CA residue is visible

thx. Just started with the hull, I think I will need to spray the inner parts of the catamaran-arm first before glueing the lower hull together. So far, it assembles as a breeze... You don't have the option to open up the launching louvres for the missiles as if they should be launched, maybe...

a little how to for the placing of the steps. In the end with a small plier I twist the steps a bit till they are all horizontal.

Trying to find definition of canning over the internets, but can't find anything connected to modelling - can you write sth more about that idea?

After just one trip in too rough seas this effect can be seen. Most self respecting captains try to avoid it though. Not good for their career 😉

Almost looks like the skin is vacuum sucked over the ribs and springers.

According to this site: chinadailymail.com/2..speed-missile-boats/
The hull is made of aluminum. Perhaps that explains the ribbing. Steel would not have been affectee like this on the superstructure.
