1950 Chev 3100 Pickup
I printed up some 1953 Colorado plates, the year my wife was born!
Then I added some chains to the tailgate, made from a necklace that belonged to my late Mother.
A closeup of the front licence plate.
I even managed to paint the "Blue Dot" tailight lenses.
The picture behind the model is of my wife's late father in Colorado where he ran a Texaco station in the 30's. The award was from a model contest in Nova Scotia.
The fuel lines, heater hoses and spark plug wires are made from various sizes of fine solder.
The firewall to fender braces are scratchbuilt.

Great, what a beauty. Love the color you mixed up. Engine detail is stunning. Just turn the key.

I built this for my wife who is from Colorado, as a deluxe Service Station vehicle. Made the licence plates as well. Mixed up the maroon colour myself with Tamiya red and black.
