First up, the wheels. Further down the line I'll try to imitate wear of the rubber. Also, had some leftover burnishing fluid that I used on the PE.

BMP-2 sideskirts contain foam to improve buoyancy. They also get terribly bit up on the battlefield. I wanted to show that without the need of PE parts.

First, I cut them into pieces, to mount only parts that are present on the reference photos.

Next, I thin the plastic with a Dremel, so I can bend and form it, to reassamble dents and punctures in thin sheets of metal.

PE parts should give better effects, but this way I can save some bucks.
