Not much in the bag, to be sure. Luckily I have some leftover parts from a Spad XIII and a hobby knife...

Thanks Vincent. I just got those decals, so you can expect a few more projects coming down the pipe. I also just finished two Tintin jeeps and am working on a scratchbuild of an armoured car.😉

I like the red. But where do you find the time to do all this modelling? Your pace is impressive.

Hah! That's what my wife says... only she doesn't use the word "impressive".😉. I've been focused on lots of "mini" projects lately, so that may inflate my pace slightly. I also like posting WIP pics, so even when I'm just spinning my wheels, it looks like I'm getting somewhere. 🙂

All done. Might've gone a bit overboard with the dark wash. It doesn't look too bad in person, but those photos really enhance it. Partially a lighting issue, but still. Oh, well. Good enough is good enough!

Just when I thought it was done... I decided that it looked "empty" on the Tintin shelf next to the armoured car, two jeeps (and a motorcycle). Everyone else had a diorama-ette base... and I just happened to have some extra angel clay...
It'll take a few days for the clary to dry out and shrink to final size. This time I plane to paint it and see how that works...

Thanks Thomas! I had to make a last second repair on it, but you can't really notice. Some bright spark on a Tintin forum mentioned that the Alfa Romeo-like car in the comics only has one exhaust pipe. So I quickly tore one off, filled the holes and painted over it. D'oh!

Heh. Thanks! I have to admit though, having to tear it off was a lot easier than suddenly finding out at the end that I should've built two. In that case I would just leave the "good side" showing.😉
