This project was just for fun and the idea arose when i saw an Audi TT on the internet with a wrapping in the galland-desing.
Unfortunately, I made a few small mistakes, but that does not bother me.

Great work Christian, I've got this kit but haven't had the nerve to start it yet. Any tips or things to watch out for?

Thx, guys!
Ben,There are some sinkmarks that need to be filled.
Most important are the pedals, necessarily pay attention to the note in the instructions! The angle must be changed, otherwise the front does not fit properly because the pedals interfere. I also removed something from the right pedal above.
Even the clear part of the pulpit does not fit properly on the lower part. There you have to align something in the middle, the edges can you then hide well under the rubber strips.
Alternatively, you can build open the pulpit 😉

Thanks Christian, I will admit that tackling some of the metal parts and that huge clear canopy is a concern, I've got the hardtop model.

Christian, loving the whacky racer Schmitty 109 !! 😄
Got a few on the bench along these lines that need finishing off ... at some point ... soon... ish 😉
I collected a few ideas for such things for a GB proposal a while back on Genssis Models that you may like to peruse 🙂

A couple of teaser pics for you on the Schmitty theme 🙂

Yeah, I love those ideas! That's crazy! 👍
Kitbashing opens up endless paths, sometimes arise ideas during the construction. Starting without planning beforehand will mostly yield the best results, so my opinion.

Yeah they are cool ideas and models, I like the drop tank racers 🙂
I prefer starting out by planning and sketching out ideas my self, I find it helps to keep an idea coherent, although I am not adverse to some ad lib along the way if I have a better a new idea for a feature or detail etc.
But that's the nice thing about scratch'n'bash builds, you can do it your own way 🙂
