Sweet build! I have the Italeri - Australian Truck. I need two trailers before I start though.

Nice job Chris. Impressive for #9!
Nathan, I have that kit as well. Planning a custom paint job, but will be bobtailing it.

and you can see why I changed out photo booths when you look at pic #5 & 6 in the smaller booth, verses the big boy booth... you can't see the backdrop edges... This is my new booth... sorry, yes I'm bragging, it's awesome! imgur.com/a/wbKkxIT

Martin! I am impressed! You know what "bobtail" means!
James? You play "Truckies"?
Chris. Purple? Really??? A pink K200 next? Actually very impressed with the brushwork mate. A few more fuel tanks would add to the already "impressive-ness".
Nathan, 3 or four trailers would make it more Australianised. Www.kalari.com.au

Jeesh Peter, when Greg Baker said you were a truck nut, he wasn't kidding 😛 Actually speaking of next truck, I have a problem and Martin directed me your way, I'll PM you the details... The next truck will be a White Freightliner 😄 and American/Euro truck sim made me fall in love with big trucks 100% more than I already love them 🙂 and if I'm being real... I like Euro trucks (cab-over) better in life, I think they are more 'sporty/sexy' (is that a thing? lol) Whereas Conventional trucks remind me of muscle cars, which are awesome and sexy too, in their own rite. I like the purple 😛 and it was the color indicated in the destruction sheet.

Chris, I have been in the industry for forty years and in all that time I have only ever seen one purple truck. Happy to chat about trucks and trailers anytime.

Watching Ice Road Truckers on History Channel teaches a thing or two Peter 🙂
As some of you might know, we have a decent sized port here in Rotterdam and the last few weeks some new containers are being seen [img1]

Ice Road Tossers!
That's very definitely Thailand Martin. I recognise a couple of people in the shot.

Here are my trucks in E/ATS, Blue Shell Expedition (Freightliner FLB) and Fireball Trux (RJL's Scania mod for the Scania S) are custom skins I made. The last skin isn't made by me.... but it's super cool

Thailand isn't that big Nathan and I have plenty of family there. Bloke in the back row third from right is Thai military. Bloke next to him is Thai Navy. Both cousins six times removed. Any rumour to the effect that I think I know everything is totally unfair! 🙂

You pick a job in the market, go to the start point pick up and go... the fun/hard part comes in the different trailers/loads and how they pull/act on your truck, there are also special transports that gives you a huge object to haul and 2 escort vehicles... basically get to your destination without FUBARing the load... get the $$$, repeat... Get upgrades in the shop, hire drivers and make a company.... recently they added trailer ownership so you can customize trailers that you can buy then give them to your employees to drive, or drive yourself (you buy trucks for your employees too)... with trailer ownership, instead of going to the start point and having a trailer waiting for you... you bring your own trailer back it up and get your load... There are also some pretty difficult drop off points which are fun to do without damaging the trailer 😛.... now on top of all that there are MODs that people created that add in cities/companies/trucks/trailers/AI traffic/truck bling/ almost anything you can think of. It makes it extremely expansive, Both Blue Shell and Fireball trucks in my previous post are both truck mods not available in vanilla. and the paint jobs are 2 mods that I created to fit the trucks... Also the graphics are pretty good, and the traffic keeps you on your toes... so it doesn't get that boring or anything... but driving and growing your company and just enjoying the game is the purpose

it's lots of fun 🙂 and there are multiple DLC on steam for each game, as well as the workshop for mods... Would highly recommend a wheel/pedals and shifter if you want... I have the Logitech G29 Wheel which uses gears instead of a cheap bungee system to return to 0 degrees.. bungees stretch and break.

Peter.... lol... I know it's over simplified and ass-backwards from life, but as a game, it's pretty entertaining 😄 Even truckers play and enjoy. 😄

Yeah I know. I loved playing F16 back in the day but bombing folks isn't something I would really want to do. Pulling one trailer doesn't seem worth it either. Only a matter of time before the game builders do an Australian version. No one will play Europe or American after that.

They have doubles and triples, plus there are trailer mods that can do the same, there's one mod that lets you have up to 4 trailers.... but that's incredibly difficult on typical roads... Aussie's have their road trains because they have open land to haul ass.... What kind of loads do/did you typically carry... and what kind of distances?

I know I'm bumping a dead thread, but I saw one of those pink ONE trailers roll through town today...It's a very loud pink.
