Academy F-15c Blue repo
Had to prop up the intake trunks so that the main gear wells can't be seen through the holes Academy decided to put in there. This involved shaving the airbrake on the back part.
Eduard cockpit PE is sized reasonably well.
Revell pilot's bottom shaved to fit in a correct position.
Some filling and sanding necessary.
ALQ antenna installed with some reshaping of the boom. Academy wants you to just cut and glue the round tip to a triangular shape...
PE grills are quite a challenge to sink into position, but they do look nice. Had to cut down the HUD for it to fit inside the front cockpit.
PE hud + iridescent nail film.
Primed with MrH surfacer 1000, some fixes and dust removal needed.
Base coat laid down.
Quick masking job for the bare metal parts. Turns out it wasn't enough and I had quite a lot of overspray on the neighbouring areas... Lesson learned.
Should have polished the area more before painting for a smoother result. Not going to repaint it as the paint/primer keep lifting after unmasking due to poor prep on my part. AK Xtreme polished aluminium, pale burnt metal and jet exhaust over Tam X1.
Almost done decaling and stencilling.
Various PE bits. Added a plastic stripe to the nose gear which looked very flimsy.
Load ready.
Epoxy'd the landing gear in place, since there was quite a bit of wiggle due to the kit itself and the PE mods.
And I'm done with that!
A few more pics taken with a borrowed DSLR.

Thanks you all.
The Hataka line doesn't disappoint, yeah. I've been having coverage issues, but that's very likely to be my own shortcomings rather than the paint 🙂

The fate of the modeler I guess, always looking for something that one could have done better😉 But I think you are too modest, because this eagle looks amazing 👍especially for this smaller scale, congrats!

Thanks Daniel.
I'm happy with the result, it's just that I got frustrated with a few things and made a few mistakes along the way. At least they don't really show.
But, as you say, such is the fate of the modeler😉
