Italeri Marder III Ausf. H
The hull is lacking transmission and driveshaft... I scratched that but missed to take a picture 🙁
Primary paintjob with my new airbrush and Tamiya-paints
Exhaust was painted with different shades of grey as a basis for weathering
fmain flesh tone was red brown aplied by airbrush
artisic oils and a wash where applied to enhance shadows and details
it also serves as a base for dirt and mud
I applied some dark grey to give the impression of further and deeper damage to the steel
Ammos Rust deposits and Oils were applied onto the pre-chipped exhaust in multiple layers to achieve the rust-effect
This way of painting rust is quite interesting compared to just painting them red-brown, but there is still room for improvement 🙂
I am quite happpy with the figures, although i want to try a less intense color for the eyes next time
I painted the black jacket with dark grey and the recesses and boots were painted with "real" black for variety and contrast
Some splahes were added with Mud Effects
test fitting of the rear platform

Finished the Marder 🙂 Tracks where problematic, but i tried to cover it with an "exquisite afv-modeller´s technique" ... aka slap dat mud on!
