Very cool (ice-cold actually) 👍 Nice to see I'm not the only one into Aerosans 🙂 How bad was the fit?

Thanks Lukasz. How bad was the fit? Bad
Basically I added plastic to the filler 😉
Well, the "fuselage" wasn't too bad, but all rods, bits n pieces are useless. Better make everything from scratch. Only the shovel and the props were ok.
The biggest challenge was to attach the engine to the fuselage. And as we all know, superglue will glue everything (especially fingers) within seconds, but not the parts that you desperately want to do so.

And yours? I guess not much different...

Thx for your review 🙂 Mine is not much better, the interior required sanding to fit inside. The rods are yet to come. But the biggest issues were to match the floor with the rest and the front parts, due to their curvy shapes. Thank god I have the Perfect Putty, it made my life bit easier. Of course the transparencies are hopeless, but flat. So I'm going to make my own ones 🙂

Thanks Alec.
Yes indeed...that wasn't a fun project. Actually very much the opposite of the Yak, which is a wonderful kit.
A friend of mine came up with that Aerosan idea...I guess he owes me a beer (or two) know. 😉
Well, now just waiting for some snow, to finish that little project.

I added a few WIP pics, so it gives you an idea of how the original parts looked like.
