191016: Base kit is very rough, with bad fit and soft detail.
190916: Fairing the Sonar dome into the one-piece hull
190914: Epoxy as ballast and to secure the mounting pedestal's securing nut.

Album info
USS NORMANDY (CG-60) in 1/700 scale from kit #01089 by CC Lee.
Model was a gift for a Shipmate who served on Normandy when she and my own USS SOUTH CAROLINA (CGN-37) deployed together with the USS AMERICA (CV-66) Battle Group in 1995.
Kit was mostly out of the box with a lot of putty, CA, and paint. Decals are laser printed or from the stash. Primary colors are MM Acryl Neutral Grey (FS36270) for USN Haze Gray and Gunship Grey (FS36118) to represent deck non-skid.
Completed December 2019.
