Cutting Off The Corridor

Currently working on the interior of the Sherman. Using a Resicast kit. Highly detailed and highly recommended if you are into building Sherman interior. All figures I'm gonna use are here, added pictures of two of them.

Started working on the interior of the tank. Not finished yet and some parts need some additional work but it's a nice start I think.

Starten working on the shading and highlights of 2 figures: the British one and one of two Germans.

The tank has been primed and recieved the first layer of paint. I used Tamiya olive green mixed with a little bit Vallejo medium green.

After finishing the paintjob with the airbrush and applying the decals and a layer of floss varnis I've been painting the backpacks, the canvas and the tools. Also worked on wheatering the hull, turret and tracks with filters and pigments.

The build up of the diorama base is going well. Painting the road and adding the first strip of grass.

The base of the diorama is pretty much finished. Added variation to the grass strips with dry pasture ground cover from DioDump and also used light green grass fibers. Also added some dust to the road with pigment.

Thanks! Started working on the damage and rubble behind the Sherman due to the Panzerfaust hit.

Worked some more on the rubble and damage behind the Sherman. Also worked on the British soldier, he's as good as finished. I like the result.

Continued working on the other German, a Fallschirmjäger. Painted camo on his jacket and added the first couple of decals. Also added a picture of German camouflage I used as an example.

The British soldier is finished. He's got the insignia of the Irish Guards on his uniform and the German Fallschirmjäger with the camouflage jacket is finished. Finished the camo and painted his face.

This project is done. Had lots of fun building. I'm satisfied with how this one turned out.
