That is going to be a great looking model when finished. I could use a 1:1 scale for MY birthday...

Rod -
It's a variant of one of ford australia's most popular cars, the falcon. They were build as sedans, coupes, utes, wagons, vans... Everything.

Next up - washing all the resin parts prior to painting.
Just finished detailing all the panel lines, and breaking out the bonnet intakes (not right thru, but enough to look like they're intakes.)

this material is very sick if you install the windows "as is". do you thin the pillars out?

An enormous amount of problems overcome with creativity Roger. I have always loved the Hardtop Falcons and drove a John Goss Special 302 (green) a mate owned. Bet he wishes he still owned it now! I am also a devotee of SMS lacquers and ceramic scrapers! Looking forward to the paint going on!

As a result of the work on making a place for the windows to sit, and the work on detailing the chrome window trim, I have reduced the thickness of the "A" pillar, but I don't want to go any further, to avoid losing to much strength.
Hope to start playing with the Ford Apollo Blue paint in the next few days....
