French WW1 Motorcycle
The instructions are all on the box...
Lots of fiddly pieces that will need painting first.
More fiddly parts... If I knew anything about the machine, I might be tempted to add a few cables and wires. Anyone know which m/c this is?
very fat spokes on the wheels, so I'll try to thin them down a little.
Figures for later, with options for an extra arm for one soldier.
A little progress, requiring parts to be pre-painted.
Now for the next side.
Hmmm..... now I have to find the headlight on the floor.... Grrr!
A couple of touch ups to the wheel rims and tires, but later.
Ignore the names, I used these for skin tones!
I need to go back, and remove that mould seam.
Shine toned down with enamel Matt coat.
Next stages...
The stage is set...

Many thanks, Dietmar, these photos will be very useful. I'll try not to disappoint, Villiers, et al 🙂

interesting subject. I am in. I am surprised that Meng did not give photo etches spokes to this bike. I would have improved the appearance considerably. Maybe you put new spokes in yourself...

Hi Michael, I also have a French bycycle with lots of PE, including spoked wheels, waiting in the queue. This one will be worked on first, then we'll see if I'm up to the challenge...

Many thanks, Villiers, I think these were my first successful ones, and done solely with acrylics. So many talented modellers' work have been carefully observed, and I think I must have been inspired by their results 🙂
