Thank you guys! Eric, no, it's not Caracal Decals, I did it myself and printed it on special paper.
Really impressive result. Fantastic job on those masks and decals. Truly unique bird!!

Hello everyone! I've been paying attention to this HobbyBoss box on a scale of 1:48 for a long time and finally decided to assemble it. I got a little tired of military options and wanted to do something bright. Moreover, the Brazilian Air Academy has a board in jubilee livery with a Toucan. I bought the box quickly, but the decal I needed was not on sale. Searches on different sites also did not yield any results. But we are not looking for easy ways)) I decided to make decals with a bright bird on my own, found scans, independently drew a layout in Adobe Illustrator, put it in size, made masks for painting wings, printed decals on a laser printer, cut masks on a plotter from ORACAL film.
Additionally, I bought decals from Quinta Studio for the Super Tucano, but used them only partially to upgrade the seats, otherwise the cockpits of the EBR-312 and 314 differ quite a lot.
I liked the assembly, very good quality plastic, everything is assembled without problems, I did not use putty practically. The lantern is of good quality, it lends itself perfectly to polishing and is quite hard. The embroidery and riveting seemed a little thick, corrected with sandpaper.
It was not easy enough to apply such a complex decal, plus I had to work with applying masks to a white base for a very long time, because I naturally could not print white on a conventional laser printer. I decided to leave the lantern open, so here, too, I had to refine and detail a little. The model does not provide an option for assembling a model with an open lantern.
Painted traditionally with acrylics from Tamiya. I practically did not use flushing and tinting. Enjoy your viewing.
