Aircraft primed and basecoated. Detail painting of the cowlings and canopies will come later.
Thought about getting photo etch for the landing gear and propeller blades, but the kit is old and the quality is lackluster, so I figured I'd skip that. For now, I'm cutting my teeth on aircraft carriers. I can use photo etch on another kit in the future.

Painted, weathered, and assembled. Now comes the final varnish, then rigging and flags.

Happy with these rust/salt effects for once.
