Most notable difference is mixture recipe for interior color. 

Printing dates. 

Anyway I applied Mr.Color C351 zinc-chromate for interior. 

Kits' engineering is excellent. Although rather complex structuring, I had no trouble so far. 

Started B7A1 too. In bright orange styrene. 

 

I first painted gear room with interior color as kit instruction says. Paint silver over, and then mix of c57 Aotake and fluorescent blue green. Result looks good to me. 

B7A1 variation has door for tail wheel. Box is too small compare to door, so I enlarged it.

priming with Gaianotes surfacer fresh + creos cr2(magenta), cr3(yellow) 

As one source recommends Japan Railway color for IJN prototype orange, I'll try one. 

Paint c58 orange as base color with modest shading.. 

Set base masking in pkace. 

 

I use Tamiya's masking sheet with grid to align miltiple layer of circle mask with supportive holes. 

IJN red over white. 

Parts waiting for final assrmbly.
