Wooden Track Spuds... I suck at wood... But was a combination of wooden acrylics then a thickish oil filter with Abt 502 oil... Metal ends were hit with Tamiya XF63 then neutral grey as highlights to the edges... VMS enamel binder with No.12 black pigment washed over and polished up...

Exhaust was several layers of progressively lighter grey acrylics.. Then a thick filter of Abt 502 rust coloured oils... A general wash of Mig Light Rust Wash with pigments mixed in was then applied... Sepia pin wash to the ties then Smoke residue on the tips...

Insignia was Tamiya white over chipping fluid... Then chipped... More chipping fluid was applied ober the white and then masked for the red... Red sprayed and chipped again...

Adding Buff to German grey I randomly sprayed individual track links... More buff was added to the mix and sprayed other links... I continued with adding Deck Tan and finally white to produce variations in tone to the tracks base colour...

Cheers Ben... Pushing the contrast to the extreme... The plan is to offset the starkness with some filters of different colours to each of the panels to enhanceme the shape further... Bit of an experiment but we'll see how it goes...!

Sane here mate... It's one thing to look at your work under bright lights but when viewed unde natural light you really do lose a lot if your work... Figure dialing things up to 11 should help... Honestly have a crack at going from one extreme to the other on a mule... It's quite impressive how far you can push things I'm learning...

Ben M... Mate I went 11 on the modulation but with filters and oil rendering it really popped and was easily controlled to bring the richness back into the colour... Was definitely an experiment in how far I could push things... Cheers...
