I have forgotten to document this project even 1 bit. Very simple kit. Having fun with it. Shouldn't take to much longer to button up.

And this one trucks over the finish line. Super simple, super fun kit. No distributor, floating alternator, no engine bay detail to speak of. Low parts count in general but a lot of fun. I have been working on a long term, slow moving project so this was perfect as a filler build. Kit and color chosen by the wife. She looked up real photos of Scouts and liked ones painted "Grenoble green". This isn't that but it's close enough. Rallye striping was a must for me. I added an alternator bracket and added a distributor, a rough coil and wired it. Also added some mud and grime. Figured this scout would get its share of off road use. Also a fun little addition to the kit was the cb radio and antenna. I liked this kit and if I get time or get bored I'd consider going back and adding some firewall details like a master cylinder, maybe some battery wiring. But for now it's finished.

Nice work mate, she looks awesome! I've just picked up an old glue bomb that I inherited, with some other kits. The bodywork is drying in the sun, as I type. Thankfully, my beer is still cold 🙂

Thanks Jay!! It's a very simple kit with few parts but enough to get you by. I still think I may go back and add a brake master cylinder but other than that I'm happy with the build
Thanks Ard!

Thanks MS! International was into a little bit of everything! Big rigs, farm equipment, autos like this Scout, heavy equipment. They sold various bits and pieces of the company off over the years and no longer exist in the capacity they used to. But they are still building the big rig trucks and the international name lives on with those and with the farm tractors which they sold to another brand who elected to keep the name.

International Harvester. Still love seeing their Big Rigs, rolling down the highway. Wish that a model manufacturer would invest in the tooling for newer trucks. They'd fly off the shelves, like hot cakes!

At my work we have a small fleet of DT466 straight trucks. I'd build one of those for sure.
