Modification of Encore Beaufort Mk.VIII

Modification of an old Encore 1/72 Beaufort Mk VIII (apparently...I preferred to call it the 'Thatsa', as in, 'Thats a Beaufort???'). Required complete stripping of old paint (cruddy as it was) and disassembly, modification of engines/nacelles/vertical stabiliser using Uncle Les' Mk V/VI conversion kit, wheels from Beaufort I detail kit by Eduard, transparencies using spares from Airfix kit A04021, Vickers K guns by Scalefiend Miniatures, and Brownings for rear turret from Gaspatch Models. Painted using Tamiya acrylics and some enamels, Mr Hobby Aqueous Acrylic, Tamiya flat clear topcoat. Decals spares from original kit and various RAAF conversions. Not perfect (or 100% accurate...) but miles ahead of where it was!!
