TAMIYA WWII GERMAN MACHINE GUNNER
An exercise in large scale figure painting

I’ve been watching videos on figure painting and decided to build this one to try out the techniques I saw. This is the Tamiya WWII German Machine Gunner. I wanted to try painting a single color uniform so I can experiment applying high lights and shadows. Per the videos I’ve seen and also from various web articles, I will try out “sketching”. We’ll see how it works.

The kit consists of two sprues, one for the figure and the other for the weapons and other accessories.

I am hoping that this will be an easy build since I want to concentrate on trying out painting.
