A pic of my first 'big' kits (Airfix Wellington, Lancaster & Halifax), built late '50's - early '60's. Terrible pic, but it's the only one I have.

Richard ChealsAny suggestions on how to sharpen the image would be greatly appreciated, so I can correctly identify the smaller models - they are all Airfix.

Richard ChealsAll built OOB and hand painted using Humbrol enamels - which was the only choice I had in the late '50s-early 60's down there in a very isolated Christchurch, NZ. No thought of Pledge/Klear clearcoat over the matt camo, nor subsequent weathering! It's evident the events of WWII were still very much to the fore.
