I bought the Trumpeter 02032 track kit, but not really sure it fits the Tamiya kits, I do hope so. Heh, I should go check that right now. Update: Looking at the parts, I just realized that the Trumpeter track links came with additional sprocket parts, two rollers and two procket wheels, and some I guess optional ring shape for the sprockets.

I've started putting together some track links, and it really looks like fun. Easy to clean up the parts as well I think. All snapping together, so no glue. Update: The parts click into place, but it is a tight fit, so all the tracks don't move around easily.
Update: Because these are tight fitting plastic parts the track length won't lie easily on the ground, which in some sense is undesirable. Also extra drive sprockets look different than the Tamiya kit parts. It does look like one can simply use the kit's drive sproket parts, seems to fit nicely.

I wish I could buy more Voyager metal etch sets, but they aren't sold in the places I want to buy them from iirc.

For photo etch, I got the Tamiya's single fret of photo etch with just a few items, then Eduard's stowage bin photo etch fret, which I am not sure would be appropriate for some early M1A1, unsure. I also bought a cable set for the Abrams, but just because it didn't cost much when buying some other stuff.
