I am just getting back into fine scale modeling after a 30 year detour into Lionel Trains. I look forward to sharing my modeling projects here and getting some modeling tips from you modeling pros.

I am an Engineering Geologist that was inspired to be a Scientist due to NASA's Cold War race to the moon in the 60's. Remember the 60's? It had a great Soundtrack!

My stash is mostly real rockets or sci-fi rocket models with a touch of stuff I have seen in my incredible 35-year professional career working on major infrastructure civil works projects like dams and tunnels around the world.

I think I have all the modeling tools to build my stash but not the fine detail modeling skills I need to make a perfect model. I still need work on my seam filling and sanding, painting and finishing skills. I need to learn more about paints.
