Album info
After the Revell H.M.S. Kelly in 1:700, the Revell Scharnhorst in 1:570, the Směr Drakkar Oseberg 1:180, now my first Ship in 1:350. The HobbyBoss Italian Heavy Cruiser Pola was around 18€ and I think not too expensive for a first build in this scale. It is a nice kit but not very accurate. Therefore, I decided to leave the reling. But I added some details by scratch.
I am satisfied with the result but have a lot to make it better. The wooden deck is not really as I wanted to paint it but overall, not bad. I use the grey for the mid deck as it was suggested by the Manual, it is a bit too dark, I think.
Fun fact, I ordered this kit in the hospital, about 1 hour after returning from the recovery room (after a routine surgery). Says at least the order confirmation, I could not and still cannot remember how I ordered this one 😄
