I am still trying to find photo of TRCU30 in North Africa. All of the Scammell trailers I have seen on photos are so called " GOOSE NECK" I don't know how much are you interested in accuracy but if you are, be aware.

Hi there. There was a time when that would have been a deal breaker for me and I would have changed the scheme to France... Nowadays I just think it's a cool kit and that's good enough for me.
And I just want to finish something.... anything! 🤣

In that case, I am truly sorry for sharing this totally unimportant detail with you 😁 Good luck, looks good so far...

Hi Vladimir, absolutely no need to apologise! Looking at your work I can see where your attention to detail pays dividends! Truly amazing stuff!

Is this what you need, Vladimir? It's important because I'm also building this in El Alamein...

Thank you Scott.
Steven, I have to disappoint you, you are making wrong trailer too.
There where 3 types of Scammell trailers. First one is 20 ton trailer, seen here together with, I think, TRMU 20.

Well there you have it. My "I just need to finish something" attitude has sparked a conversation that has answered a question that I wasn't even aware was a question. Every day is a learning day 🤷♂️
And I like the fact that the picture shows the transporter without any camouflage, making my goal of "just finish something" more achievable. All good. Just need to find a Miniart M3 Grant on eBay.

Upper one is the one Thunder model describes as GOOSE NECK and LATE.
But, those are the only ones I have seen in desert.
Lower one is TRCU30, and you can see them in later period of the war, in Europe.
So, there is a mix up with early - late models.

OK, thanks for this info, it seems better to me that I continue this discussion in my own topic, because Scott made clear he prefers the look of the early trailer. I wish him a great build. I'm on to a dilemma then... Buy the right trailer or change the scenery.
