Cool! Sieht ja schon richtig klasse aus, mir gefällt die "Zerstörung" durch Beschuss und vermutlich das rastlose Hetzen durch die Jahrzehnte... 🙂

@Thomas: not sure, nut English might be the better language for Creative Explorer 😉

I am sorry, but I wasn´t sure for him being from the Netherlands...

@ Creative Explorer: which language would you prefer?

Philip De Keyser
prachtig werk tot nu toe, ik kijk al uit naar het vervolg, groetjes, Phil

Thanks Thomas, It is my first weathered project, so I hope I can pull it off. About the language; I can speak German, I can understand spoken and written German, but I have difficulties with writing, so I'd prefer English on the board. It also is more accessible for the other board-members.
@Philip; bedankt! I hope to post some new pictures soon, but first I need to apply the clearcoat.

I added some more pictures, basically a very 'rusty' update 🙂

Update: I added a convertible roof and worked on the skeletons.

Its looking very good! The skeletons are coming out nicely, too! Great work and idea!

Thanks Holger! I do think too, that the skeletons come out quite ok.

I now made some uniforms for the soldier, It was a fiddly task, but I think they look good on them.

I stay tuned!

What material did you use for the uniform?
19 January 2012, 15:43
Creative Explorer
Dave: I used tissue's, completely soaked with water.

Another update: After much consideration, I decided to take another new step for me: A diorama. Never done that before, so it is new to me.

I chose the next title for my project: Der Fliegender Fuch (The flying fox, after Edwin Rommel the dessert fox)
24 January 2012, 22:22
Thomas Mayer
Spelled "Fuchs", the is no Fuch in German. 😉 To continue correcting: Erwin Rommel, the Desert Fox. But I guess he liked desserts, too 😉

Dave Flitton
HAHAHAHA...I was going to say something as well but I figured a "native" speaker would do the correcting, but I guess as a "native" speaker of English I misses "desserts" too.

Dave Flitton
errr....missed...

oops, I must've been in a hurry, don't i misspelled so badly.
But yeah, it is a 'Fuchs' and 'Desert'.

Next to that; I did manage to weather the floor of the cabin, I think I did manage to catch the spirit of old weathered paint.

Starting to take the last little steps, I added some more detail and will change a few things, after that I should be done!

Creative Explorer
Thanks! The skeletons came with the kit, although they were a bit simple and I had to give them a ribcage. But they were part of the kit.

thanks, what is the kit exactly? your album does not a project attached 😉
