CAC Boomerang was Australian homegrown fighter plane constructed in hurry under danger of japanese invasion (prototype took off only several weeks after blueprint was created). It was very well maneuverable and reliable, well armed plane, however lacked in speed against japanese Zeros. With more advanced allied designs coming to the front, Boomerang was later used as Ground attack or Artillery spotting plane. ******************************************* CAC Boomerang byl domácí australský stroj, zbudovaný z nouze při hrozící japonské invazi. Byl spolehlivý a velmi obratný, slušně vyzbrojený. Oproti japonským zerům byl ale pomalý. S pozdějším příchodem pokročilejších spojeneckých strojů zastával Boomerang roli bitevního letounu nebo dělostřelecké hlásky.
