First time scratch building seatbelts, I know they're a bit out of scale but I'm happy with them nonetheless.

First aircraft model as well! So, this is the first time I get my heart broken by my hard work being hidden away.

Finished assembly! I've made quite a few mistakes, but I think with a bit of paint it'll look quite good.

The spinner isn't glued as close to the fuselage as it could be, so it rattles a little bit. Permanently gluing it in place is an option, but I do like that it spins.

I glued the "weighted" wheels the wrong way around! So now I think I'll try and make the missing part of the wheels out of greenstuff or similar. Really annoying mistake 🙁

There's a tiny, almost t-shaped bit on one of the wings that I haven't glued yet, there's no recesses for it and I can't figure out exactly what it is or where it's supposed to go from the instructions. Any ideas?

Also, I didn't get a perfect fit on the wings, so there's a bit of a gap on two places on the right – or is it the left? – well, the top wing in this photo. I reckon trying to fill it with Tamiya putty would be more trouble than it's worth, and I'd wreck the beautiful surface detail.

Will be updated as I make progress on the project. Trying out posting this way, instead of a new album every time there's an update. Not sure what the proper Scalemates etiquette is?
