13 July 2008: the Pacific Ocean - The guided-missile frigate USS Rodney M. Davis (FFG 60) steams in the operating area of Rim-of-the-Pacific 2008. RIMPAC is the world's largest multinational exercise scheduled biennially by the U.S. Pacific Fleet.

Genuinely hard to tell if she's carrying a whaleboat or an RHIB as her ships boat in this picture, which is frustrating since its the heart of this mystery. Also, love the SeaKnight doing some VertRep

17 November 2011: Everett, Wash. - The guided-missile frigate USS Ford (FFG 54) returns to Naval Station Everett from a six-month deployment to the western Pacific Ocean. Ford participated in the multi-national Cooperation Afloat Readiness and Training (CARAT) exercise.
