All decals applied. For the first time I had to use a magnifying glass to apply; or maybe it is may age?
All decals - even those that are almost invisible nore readable.
First layer - gloss. Then decals, then second layer semi-gloss (Vallejo). It looks very good.
Next step: Last details, completion and weathering. I am curious about the result.
Finished!

I tried capuring the plane in the style of photos from older days. Like it or not, I do like it this way.

This is my absolute first attempt with airbrushing a mottled camouflage. So please be patient and I would appreciate helpful comments.

Thank you Alberto and Joseph Russo! That motivates me to continue on the path. You will see the progress at the Caproni-project 😉

That's coming together well. It's kinda cool to see this done pretty much straight out of the box. I'm working on the same kit right now but I'm over thinking it. Be careful with the propeller. They made it backwards.

The only reason for me to build this plane was to rehearse airbrushing the mottled camouflage. But while building I began to like this little gem. Of course I did my best to make it look good. Hope you like it?
It was the first time for me to use those thousands tiny little Decals, that was the true horror for me. But the result payed it off!
And finally: No one will ever notice that there are no PE-parts in the cockpit or Resin parts with the undercarriage or engine 😉

I too fell in love with this plane while making this kit. It a great subject. A lot of people say this is a horrible kit, but I don't think it's that bad. Yes, it has issues but I've had worse. And as you have proven you can make it straight out of the box and looks good. I like the colors you chose. Are they the recommended colors from the box or did you switch it up a bit?

I took a look at the recommendations and took them as they were: RLM81, RLM82, RLM83 and RLM76 for the underside. I used Vallejo Air straight out of the bottles. The lines of the cooling-flaps are done with a pencil. After all was finished the plane got a wash of very, very thinned black. The exhaust stains are from an 8B-Pencil. The mood of the pictures is from the app snapseed.

The simple Revell kit. I do it quick before the Capronis to practise for the mottled camouflage.
