Love that color! Generaly I like not-red-Ferrari. I did mine blue too. But like that dark blue from Great Britain (1987 Ferrari F-40, Revell #7327 | Album by christian-w (1:24))

Welcome @DerMattes,
@Christian W I do not build many cars but am getting more into them now. I have 2 Ferraris built, one white and one blue and this one on the go. I wonder how many more I can make before I do a red one?
I like the stripe on yours, thanks for sharing

Thank you for the like!
I did some Ferrari in my younger years. They all were red. The last maybe 10 years I've built at least 3 Ferrari and none is red. This blue F440, a pink 360 Modena and a brownmetallic'ish 348 ts. They look not bad at all.
What's on my list is the 328 in nearly the same color your F-40 is. This color looks fantastic on your Ferrari and I can imadine, that it's fine on the 328.
Because of red Ferrari. For my taste, there are just a handful of Ferrari, which "has to be mostly red": 328 and 288 GTO. Nevertheless, a white 288 looks georgeous or an anthrazite 328, or silver... Great colors for them. On my point of view, especial the metallic colors brings their body design out properly.
I'm on to watch your F-40 beeing built.

I was born in the 70s, so I prefer the Countach 😁
Still a great job here Andrew.

Thanks Martin, I too am from the 70s, to my eye the F40 only looks good from certain angles, the 288GTO looks right from all angles. I have just picked up a Koenig Countach so that might not be too far away. I think I will put a Lambo on my list for modelling next year

Three awesome cars you've mentioned *yummy* I agree to the 288 GTO. This car is sick. I only want to see one in real life once. That is a small dream. F40 and Countach are checked off 😄. If I could choose between the F40 or Countach, I'd take the Countach with all its quirks 😉 .
