Highlighting the panel lines with a homemade pin wash made from Odorless , Turpenoid and brown and black artist oil paints.

Vallejo matte Mecha varnish Applied. The final coat was just dusted on about 6 inches away to achieve a flat finish instead of Matte.

I got the landing gear installed and put the final flat finish applied. She’s not completely flawless, but I think she turned out pretty damn good! The customer is very pleased.

I used gunship gray 36118 instead of the actual aircraft color 36099. I wanted it to have “scale effect“ and not look black.

It actually placed first at my local model club’s annual contest. Soon, it will go home with the colleague who commissioned me to build it
