Hello all,
the F-104 Starfighter has always been my favourite bird, especially in the NMF finish.
And so, of course, the first model after a break of almost thirty years with my hobby was an
F-104G of the German Air Force in natural metal finish. The kit was from Kinetic and a gift from some colleagues for my retirement.
A few aftermarket add-ons from Eduard, Wolf Pack
etc. (Gun Bay, Hydraulics Bay, Electronic Compart-
ment, Brake Chute Housing usw.) were added.
The markings from HaHen Decals showing a strikefighter of the JaBoG 31 from 1964.
The Canadian CF-104 shows a reconnaissance aircraft also from 1964. A Kinetic kit too, and built mostly out of the box.
The seat is from Eduard and the cockpit decals are from Quinta Studio (like the german plane) the stencils are from DACO.
A Belgian interceptor is planned for next year.
