I've always had a soft spot for the Panzer III.

It begins. 

Built, cleaned up and ready for primer. 

Primed and a coat of rotbraun. 

 

 

 

I know, the photos are not in sequence. Weird as the the numbers, time and date stamps run consecutively. Anyway, looking like a tank after consecutive coats. Some dressing up and a bit more modulation to do, it's lagging a bit as I'm trying to get the Attacker over the line and I'm back on Shifts. Happy Plastic slapping!  

 

Oh, Ho! Much silent screaming at the wall, because I can't get the nuances right, regarding paint. . . . . . Probably. Oh and not disturb thee Wife and Daughter. 

Major noodling done, sort of pre weathering. 

Detail painting next, wheel's etc. 

I think a very thin diluted base coating may bring it together. 

All the wheels done and pre-weathered. Some pre-weathering on the hatches, using AK thinners in an experiment to see if I can get through the layers to the hull red. A bit faded, I think I will stipple the area with paint to make it a bit more vivid. 

Started on the Commander too. 

That's it for the next four days, I'm off to Prague with Thee Wife. . . . . . . . She's taking her broom, I'm going by Jet! B'Boom, Tish. I'm not here all week  

Base and tracks primed. 

Finished the detail painting. . . . . I think. Some more weathering. Added some more glazes to the Commander.
