No, resin figures aren`t that bad. In fact they are great. I took a good look at my Pz.Kpfw.III Stowage Set (Legend Productions LF1164, 1:35) after your post yesterday ( sorry, I forgot to answer). Didn`t find anything bad, even very small parts are perfect. Now that I see your pictures, there is one difference ( well apart from the fact that your figures - let`s say it- are crap)- my resin is yellow and yours is grey, which could indicate that you bought an illegal copy. Did you buy them from a shop or from a private seller?

They came in a legend box, cellophane sealed. I have looked on the Legend website and would say the figures I have are the same colour as the ones on the website. I have been in touch with the person I bought them off, he got them in with a kit he bought but does not use figures so sold them on. He did say he was surprised as he has used Legend conversion sets and never had any issues with them. The box looks too good to be copies, its a quality box, the printing is good, the materials used is good. It is possible they are knockoffs, anything is possible but going on the box I would say not. It is always possible the box was reused with cheap copies inside. To me they look like the first run in the morning after the machine has been off for the night.

Got the big magnifying glasses out this morning in an attempt to try and salvage what I can and found traces of green plastic, I am assuming these are the remains of a silicon mould!!! Found a piece about half the size of a grain of rice behind some flashing in the socket for attaching the arm, I do not know how legend make their figures, but don`t think they use green silicone. I been had and probably the guy before me and the one before him, the packaging is excellent. If Legend don`t use green silicone that is lol. Will take some pictures of the box and put them on my wall as a warning to others.

My first resin figures, not seen figures this bad since Tamiya in the 70's. Are these are really bad one offs or are all resin figures like this?
