In photo #2you cans see the gold window just infront of the cockpit. That was a clear yellow tinted window showing the infrered or radar dome, either way. I accidentally punched that threw with a finger picking it up! Now that its floating around inside the fuselage OHH $#*&!! Is what actually came out of my mouth. So I have 2 options the one you see which is a gold plastic sheet cut to shape and glued in place the a clear yellow sheet cut to size and glued over that which is what you see. Or option 2 tear apart all that hard great looking work of mating the two fuselage halves together? Hmmmm so now you may understand why I fixed it this way. I still think the origanal look alot better, oh well a little more carefull next time.

Album info

I started with a revell-germany 1/48 F-117 Nighthawk stealth fighter kit. I wanted to display this one hanging fro my ceiling. I was surfing the internet ressearchin info about this jet fighter. I came across a picture of an F-117 on the flightline with the the pilot and some maintenance crew walking around doing quik checks before flight. I had an idea, build a flight line order hasawega 1/48 ground crew and equipment set and making a diorama. I came across a set to take this diorama one step further, I ordered skunk works 1/48 tow tracter for USAF and missle cart. The only downfall about this was I would have to scrap the base I started for the flight line because now I would nee a bit bigger one. Anyway I hope y'all enjoy the pics as much as I am enjoying the build! Happy Modeling! !
