Vasquez' Last Stand

Wow! My favorite movie with my favorite Aliens character! Well done Ulf. Hope you will bring this build to the model show😉
Wow, that was a quick reaction! I will see, I have to gather it from my sister first...
Haha! My sister also made a special gift to me: the T-Shirt that one of the colonial marines actors wore in the Sulaco's canteen "Peace by superior firepower" showing the Marine's pulse rifle! It's one of my favourite shirts. 🙂
Unique, that's it! Thank you Choppa!
Hey, if anyone knows facts about the origin of this group, please let me know!!!
I like the metal back drop for the vent shaft, and the brain spatter 🙂
Thanks again. The brain spatter was a special kind of fun, indeed! I took a stell nail and pierced the aluminium sheet again and again and after that I took some green and yellow colours and slightly brushed them into one another.
home.earthlink.net/~wgoldman/models.html This web page shows a garage kit by Miniations titled "Struggle" Alien vs. Vasquez. No illustration or link.
Wow, great! Thank you for this hint. Unfortunately there is no link behind this item so it's not possible to verify it. Miniations has no website...
I liked Vasquez, sadly she died....
Great little scene, well done!
Hey Ulf, really nice Vignette. What a pitty, that she didn´t make it.
Looking good. 🙂 I think I have to dig to my DVD archives and watch the movie once again.
Album info
Dear mates,
a few years ago I came across a fascinating figure set while surfing on eBay. The group showed a scene of the movie "Aliens", James Cameron, 1986, where Pvt. Vasquez, played by Jenette Goldstein fought her last life-or-death-struggle in the tubes of the ventilation system.
The resin figures' scale is about 1:10. The manufacturer remained unknown, likely a small garage company. If anyone recognizes it, it would be great if you let me know the origin!
I bought this set, overpainted it as I was not satisfied with the original painting work and arranged it on a base.
I had a label lasered with a special "Aliens"-font I found in the internet.
This small dio made a perfect birthday present for my sister who is a true fan of this movie and especially of the character Vasquez.
She was completely excited when she got it and now it's got a place of honor on her living room bookshelf.
I thought you might like it as well. Here are the pictures, have a good time!
