Nice job. Like the weathering.Wear and tear such as extreme chipping seems to have been especially common on lots of Japanese planes,must have been the type of paint they used ?

chipping was because they put paint straight to aluminum without primer... sometimes they painted them in field conditions even without cleaning the surface.

I was pretty disappointed with this kit on the first look. Panels were not engraved... looks like this was pretty old Hasegawa kit. But I've finished it. Eduard zoom set was the only aftermarket used on this one. Figures are from Eduard.
