love it 🙂
some great re-imaginings of the Me 262, also liking the subtle water textures too 👍

that's only part of it.. everyone was expecting planes, the 2 salt lake racers were already special, but noone was expecting any kind of boat or ship.

I hope that the cheaper Monogram kit was used for all these builds. I always wondered what the 262 would look like with the engines sunk into the fusalage sides with side intakes like the Phantom. Gary

it was a lot of fun to build these 🙂 we used mostly the HobbyBoss kits, but there where also some Revell (Dragon rebox) used. The "Walrus" is for example a Dragon/Smer mix. There are still some in the pipeline because we had to many ideas....

Naboo fighter cool !
Maybe a Tie fighter too ? 😄
Tempting to have a go. You got me thinking about a 262 Tanks now 🙂
so I've just chucked a couple of speculative bids out, we shall see 🙂

@Choppa: I did't think of a tie so far, but I was thinking about Y-wing 🙂
@John: there are 7 of as called "Scale Knights". Take a look at scaleknights.ch

Great!!! 👍 A perfect example what scale modeling can be if you don't take it too serious.
Thanks for the smile! 🙂

@Ulf: exactly.... we usually pick historic projects but we wanted to do something different. And in general it was a great success, specially for the people not involved in scale modeling (but of course there are some of the "hard core" model builder which didn't even look at the models)

This stuff is just plain cool. My favorite is the Walrus looking seaplane, but, they all show active imaginations.
Those pics make for a good break while I squint at my new Phantom data decal sheet.

They do indeed make for sweet distraction 😄
I wonder how many people might be up for a
"Margarine Tub Moon Lander" Group Build ? 😄
Anyhow a few more nice distractions -

I've been looking at my 1/48th Harrier with just that in mind, If I can get a cheap F1 Ferrari in 1/20th and stick the fins and wheels etc. onto the Harrier, carve out a new cockpit and presto ! an F1 Harrier 😄
that's another idea for a GB, Bash two kits into one model 👍

Fascinating creative ideas, excellently executed ! My favourite is the mini sub, as it brings out the over - obvious shark in the 262 design.
The Canadian De Havilland is second . 🙂

I think this collection was part of a groupbuild Robert took part in, I don't think they are all his models 🙂
I love the wee X Wing 🙂

That's a way cool Robert🙂
Great and inspiring work with a big fun factor. Not only a clean and nice modelmaking but also a great creativeness. Very well done to Robert and his Swiss Scale Knight mates!

Thanks to all of you...
We (the Scale Knights) had a lot of fun with this project and it's well received at exhibitions. Especially since every model is well researched and the history well documented 😉

Hi Robert, I was just trying to access the link you provided above but it doesn't seem to work or I can't access it. I'd be keen to look at more of these types of builds.
