Probably the main problem is not the design but the plastic and the age of the kit. The kit is at least 30 years old. The plastic doesn't react well with glues, e.g. Revell Contacta or Tamiya's green head. It dries very late and the parts remain very fragile. I had to repair the vertical stabilizer at least three times. Then the flaps are glued only at two points each, which makes them also very sensitive. Some thin parts were brittle and some of them already broken. With that plastic quality it was really trouble to fix them. The decals were also very old, some of them became dust after wetting...

Got that Kit lately at sag the same topics with the plastic. Still a very interesting aircraft.
