The selection wasn't mine, it was proposed by an british friend and had to do many studies over that camo because the previous two attempts in coloring were frustrating 😄
The eyes are always my problem in figures work, had to spend monthes of failure untill now I can say that I've learned almost how to make them;)

Eyes, I'm only average but what I read and works for me is to paint the white part, off white, just fill the sockets, then secret is to paint a U rather than a O for the centre as the eye lids always cover part of the coloured portion, is that the iris. Then just run the brush along top and bottom of socket with artist oil to give eye lash. That cleans up the white part and properly frames the eye so is not a big dot. Not my idea, but best I can achieve with my skill level. I like result and is easy. Never mastered the glint, my eyesight and coordination doesn't allow for that.

I've never thought that painting the eye will be so headache 😄
I've managed to do it for another 3D printed statues of a friend of mine, I don't have the peicture here but anyways, I'll try to ameliorate that 120mm german officer and show it
