CAC CA-12 Boomerang
preparing all the parts for the cockpit. A little bit of detailing was necessary
the resin seat is very nice. I only added the at the bottom of the seat with alu foil from a beer can.
cockpit is ready.
small issue when insering the cockpit in the two fuselage half. Fortunately, It's only the dashboard side that are too wide. a little bit of sanding will solve it.
next comes the beautiful engine of Special hobby. Another issue I read here and there was that the engine is too big to enter in the fuselage. Therefore, I sanded the inside of the engine cowl as well as sanding a little bit each piston
and here's the result a couple of hours later.
painting the inside of the engine cowl in zinc chrome.
another view of the engine
the engine with the exhaust
rust where done using several washes and pigments
Yes ! the engine comes in the fuselage perfectly

nicely built, and a fantastic groundwork. Love how you got the blown-away sand. How did you achieve this?
