Curious where you are at with this project Dutch. The above pic is of Rivet Amber before her transformation into the RC-135E.
Brother Don! Thanks for tuning in. The picture was chosen at random as it fit the frame when cropped and posed an interesting angle. I didn't know that this particular serial number ender up as Rivet Amber. It's still sitting in abox without any true progress at the moment. But I have made it a goal to finish some of my hangar queens this year, so stay tuned! R/ Dutch

I must be a sucker. I purchased an already assembled Revell 1/139 C-135B Stratolifter and I wanted to see what I could do with it. I originally thought to make a 1/144 KC-135R Stratotanker using a set of ATP CFM-56 engines and the new Caracal 1:144 KC-135R decals for the 100th ARW at RAF Mildenhall, but after inspecting the kit more closely, I then thought to make an EC-135C Looking Glass. The original owner glued the engines in the wrong positions from the kit directions, but they are 75% correct for an EC-135C. I would have to replace one non-turbo hood engine front with a turbo hood one from my spares (ala my KC-135E conversion). I have not cut the fuselage down to the correct length and have included two photos to show the difference in the length. Oh yes, the original builder glued the stabilizer on upside down, so that will have to be corrected also. As Minicraft is releasing their EC-135C kit imminently, I will build this as a C-135B Stratolifter of MATS / MAC using the newly released Caracal Generic
